Algebra 2 Quadratics review activity
Algebra 2 – Quadratic Equations and Graphs review activity
Students are tested on their understanding of the key features of sketching the graphs of quadratic equations by using:
- Factoring
- Roots (zeroes)
- Intercepts
- Maximum and Minimum points
- No real roots (complex number solutions)
The students are given 9 quadratic equations and 12 clues. They must sketch the graph of each quadratic, identifying the key points on the graph, and draw their sketch in the correct position on the grid according to the clues given.
Students can complete the task individually or in groups.
Make it more engaging by offering a small reward for the first student(s) to complete the grid. This makes for a great review activity.
